Dutyfree zone
Duty Free Zone is available for passengers departing from the Lodz Airport Ltd. after check-in with hold luggage screening and security control.
All passengers are entitled to do shopping within the zone but only passengers departing to the Non-EU countries are exempt from VAT taxation on presenting valid boarding card.
Within the zone passengers may find such shops as Keraniss and Baltona with a wide range of assortment including cigarettes, alcohol, perfumes, sweets, toys and small souvenirs.
Doing shopping, passangers should pay attention to the amount limits of goods to be taken abroad.
The amount limits of alcoholic and tobacco goods a passenger is allowed to take on board:
- 200 cigarettes;
- 100 cigars ( up to 3g weight)
- 50 cigars (weighing more that 3)
- Tobacco for smoking
- 1l of distilled beverages and spirit beverages of more that 22% alcoholity, pure ethanol of 80% or more alcoholity;
- 2l of alcohol and alcoholic beverages of less than 22% alcoholity
- 4l of sparkling wine;
- 16l of beer
