For passengers > Luggage

While preparing for travel, it is advisable to become familiar with baggage carrying and safety regulations applied by individual carriers. Detailed information is advisable on:

It is highly recommended that you attach a tag with your personal data (name, address and contact telephone number) to your registered baggage, which makes it possible to track it faster if lost.

For the sake of safety, all passengers using civil aviation service must comply with the following rules:

  1. Each passenger is responsible for the contents of their luggage
  2. Luggage must not be left unattended within the airport and its surroundings. Luggage left unattended may become a reason for initiating alarm procedures the costs of which will be covered by its owner.
  3. It is not recommended to accept any items (presents, packages, envelopes) to be carried on the plane from strangers, casual acquaintances, untrustworthy persons. A passenger who agrees to do so will be responsible for their contents and any resulting consequences.
  4. For security reasons there is a total ban on carrying, both in registered baggage and in hand baggage, the following items:
    • any sorts of fire-arms, objects and devices which can shoot missiles
    • explosives, flammable substances (e.g. fireworks, fire crackers)
    • toxic substances and chemicals, including compressed gases, oxidants, corrosives
    • items with remote-control alarm systems
  5. Moreover, before check-in, passengers must remove from their hand baggage any items not allowed in the passenger cabin, i.e. cold steel, cold steel and fire-arms imitations, sharp and dull instruments and other things that can cause injury.
  6. Objects not allowed in passengers cabin will not be accepted on deposit.
  7. Pharmaceutics and cosmetics as well as gels and liquids for use during the journey are accepted in limited quantities.

Weight Limitations applied by the carrier must be complied with.
